Gaming Day
The Gamer title. A wonderful creation with a singular flaw: it's only open a few days a year.
Minigames rock. That's all there is too it. Therefore, I propose a mirror to the weekend events, Gamer Wednesday. Every Wed, as noted, a certain minigame opens up, becoming available to everyone in GW for 24 hours. (Or maybe not wednesday. Ideally, it's a mirror of the weekend, but any day would do.)
Every month, the Costume Brawl opens. Again, every month, 9 rings allow more gambling goodness. For the other weeks, a mix of dragon arena, rollerbeetle racing, snowball fighting occurs. Meanwhile, a little expansion for each mini-game. New builds every month for the Costume Brawl, new courses for racing, and new maps for dragon arena and snowball fighting.
Sound like fun?
There's only one argument I can see against this, that it makes minigames less special. If they are fun, if they provide enjoyment, if they make the game as a whole more interesting, I say, how is it a problem if they occur more than one week per year?
Mudball fights in the depths of Tyria. Race the River of Souls in rollerbeetle form. Brawl across every single Hero Battle Map. Force your opponents to kowtow before you on the sea of jade. Let's game.

i LOVE the mini games and since 8pm friday ive had about 6 hours of sleep the rest was spent in the dragon arena. If the DA/ any other event was open more often ive had a pretty warped mind.
Only problem is all the additonal programming on anets side + gamer titles would become real easy to get and having Uber Micro Skillz wouldnt be as intimidating as it is now.
Id much prefer something like 1 of the weekends per month dedicated to this and this only, but thats just me.

Lol @ the idea of doing it on Wednesday. You'd make students like me cry out "UNFAIR" if this went through. Keep it to the weekend at least.
The only thing I hate about the Gamer title is that it's not necessarily fair to start with. Cantha gets Dragon Arena and Racing, Tyria and Elona both get Costume Brawling and Snowball. Cantha's game seem to focus more on individual skill, and Tyria and Elona have more team-based games.
I would support your idea of cycling the different games, as long as they're open to all campaigns and last through the weekend, keeping with the previous ideas of the Gamer weekend.

So, I'm gonna ask the OP, are you suggesting that Gamer weekends should include Nine Rings and other Lucky/Unlucky related things? That doesn't really fit with the whole Gamer concept, to me.
